‘The Miniature Piece Project’ was Apo Malo‘s exciting challenge, which involved creating a fresh piano melody every day for a whole month. He found inspiration in daily activities and short phrases. The result? A beautiful collection of new melodies! These short piano pieces offer a glimpse into Apo Malo’s creative process, exploring various themes and emotions within concise compositions. This project underscores the impact of daily inspiration, demonstrating how ordinary moments can evolve into extraordinary musical expressions. Various techniques were used in these pieces, including chromatic harmony, harmonic rhythm, modal interchange and Neapolitan chords.
